Office Policies & Appointments
Our staff is friendly, experienced, and always willing to help out. Please call us if you have any questions about our office policies, insurance, services we offer, or to set up an appointment. We are available during regular office hours.
Hansen Office Hours:
Monday through Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: By appointment only
Our office is closed daily from 12:00pm to 1:30pm
Appointments
The frequency and length of your appointments will depend on your treatment. Dr. Hansen and his staff will give you a treatment plan and tell you how often you need to visit us.
Initial banding appointments require more time, so we schedule them in the morning. Emergency appointments are usually scheduled in the morning as well.
It can be difficult to get your child out of school for appointments, and most parents don’t want their children to miss school. We try to accommodate school schedules and patient requests, but we do need to be fair to all our patients. We alternatively schedule early and late appointments, and we offer late afternoon appointments. Bonding and banding appointments are usually scheduled in the morning or the early afternoon.

Insurance
We can help you navigate your insurance benefits and maximize your coverage.
Insurance policies are all different. We can only estimate coverage initially, and we cannot guarantee coverage. We bill insurance companies directly for the convenience of our patients. Please reach out with any questions you have regarding insurance policies or how we bill your insurance company.
Sterilization
In any good orthodontic office, safety and cleanliness should be the first priority.
Every staff member uses disposable gloves and masks that are replaced before each patient appointment. We disinfect all treatment surfaces between every appointment as well. Our offices have a sterilization area where we rinse and heat sterilize every tool and instrument between every appointment. Our sterilization machine reaches 400–425 degrees and is monitored regularly to ensure it is working properly. We vaccinate all our employees against Hepatitis-B and they are trained in sterilization and cleanliness.
